Signup Link

The Signup Link tab provides a ready-to-use public signup page link and QR code for your store. You can find it under Customers > Signup Link.

What It Does

Every VMX POS client has a public customer signup form at a unique URL. The Signup Link page makes it easy to access, share, and print that link so customers can sign up on their own phone or device.

The page shows:

  • Your company logo (pulled automatically from your quote header)
  • A QR code that customers can scan with their phone camera to open the signup form
  • The signup URL in a text field, ready to copy
  • Copy Link button to copy the URL to your clipboard
  • Copy QR button (small clipboard icon on the QR code) to copy the QR code image to your clipboard for pasting into documents, flyers, or emails
  • Print button to print a clean, counter-ready card

Printing

Click the Print button to get a clean printout with just the logo, QR code, and signup URL — the navigation bar and buttons are hidden automatically. This is designed to be posted at your checkout counter, included in mailings, or handed to customers.

How Customers Use It

When a customer scans the QR code or visits the link, they see a simple signup form where they can enter their name, email, phone, and address. Once submitted, they are added to your customer database automatically with a [Public Signup] memo.

Tip

If your store has Email Marketing turned on with "Confirm new sign-ups by email" enabled, a customer signing up here doesn't start receiving marketing email right away — they get a confirmation email first, and only start receiving marketing once they click it. The customer record itself is still created immediately either way.
