Company Context

VMXpert knows VMX inside out, but it doesn't know your business until you tell it. The Company Context page (Admin → Toolbox → VMXpert → Company Context) is where you write down the facts — and they're used everywhere: in staff chat and by every agent you've set up.

Long documents go elsewhere

Company Context is for short facts you type in. To give VMXpert a whole document — a handbook, a policy, a care-guide packet — use Knowledge Files instead.

How it works

The page has two panels:

• Your notes (left) — free text, in your own words. Plain language is fine:
  • "We don't deliver — customer pickup only."
  • "Open Mon–Sat 8–6, closed Sundays."
  • "House accounts are net-30, approval required."
  • "We carry Proven Winners and Espoma."
• What the assistant will know (right) — when you save, VMXpert distills your notes into the fact list it will actually use, and shows it to you. What you see there is exactly what gets applied — no surprises.

If the compile ever fails, your previous version stays live and the page tells you to try Save again. Clearing the notes entirely removes the context.

What to put in (and what to leave out)

Company Context is for facts and policies — what you sell, when you're open, how your accounts work. It is not for instructions about how VMXpert should talk ("be brief", "no emojis") — those belong in standing instructions, which each person sets for themselves.

One boundary worth knowing: your context adds to VMXpert's built-in rules — it can't override them. You can tell it your return policy; you can't tell it to skip approval steps.
